WHAT WE DID

While LA28 focuses on the 'relentless pursuit of your wildest dreams,' the city itself is home to the biggest dreamers in the world. Each dream is as unique as the person who carries it.

As the mecca for global storytelling, the city of Los Angeles gives voice to its diverse people. A blank canvas for those who are bold enough to paint. It's no wonder that LA is no stranger to the Olympics. Having hosted the 1932 and 1984 games, this city's history is deeply intertwined with a love of Sport.

FIRST BUT NOT LAST.png

Every hero stands on the shoulders of the heroes who came before her.

They broke glass ceilings,
so we could soar to new heights.

They braved criticism and defied stereotypes.

They stood alone,
so we could succeed together.

They fought,
so we could compete.

They toiled without recognition,
so we could inspire millions.

They caused a spark.
And it’s grown into a roaring blaze.

This year, we remember that before women’s athletics was a reality,
it was once just a hope.

We honor their contributions — not just by remembering them,
by continuing the legacy they laid before us.

They dared to be rebels, so we could be stars.

CAMPAIGN INSIGHT

Throughout time, women have been sidelined, underestimated, and doubted. Since the turn of the 20th century, when women were first able to compete in the Olympics, it’s been an uphill climb to solidify each woman's place in the Olympic and Paralympic history books.

In this campaign, we celebrated women athletes whose history is rooted in Los Angeles. Unique and crucial pieces of the puzzle. Their ability to pursue their wildest dreams, defy barriers, and break rules has altered the very fabric of our city... shaking it to its core and rebuilding it for the future.

All through the power of Sport.

CAMPAIGN FILM

In a city known for the silver screen, in a state where people came to strike gold, all Women's History Month, we honored the women raising the bar, fighting, marching, chasing their dreams, passing the torch, and carrying the flame.

CROSS-PLATFORM STORYTELLING

Each week, we delivered a new story and created content to be platform-specific, with user experience being a high priority. Be it a Twitter thread, an Instagram carousel, or TikTok video, the stories remained cohesive across all the LA28 social channels.
