JUNIOR BRAND STRATEGIST
Seeking a talented marketer with experience as a brand strategist who must be able to create and implement brand campaigns within the established brand identity, yet think creatively to grow and expand brands in relevant, meaningful ways. We emphasize effectiveness, not effort. We measure people by how much, how quickly and how well they get work done – especially under deadlines.
Developing brand strategies (this includes social/digital elements), working directly with the client.
Providing analysis, recommendations, and rationale for marketing campaigns.
Strong copy-writing skills and ability to create comprehensive brand decks.
Will assist in pitching new work by developing pitch decks.
Brief and even sometimes write creative copy.
Must have an eye for design as well as the ability to direct design work based on brand insights.
May involve some social media execution from time to time.
Required Skills & Experience:
An eye for detail and a desire for perfection while simultaneously being able to see the big picture.
Strong portfolio of successful marketing campaigns that outlines what you did and did not do.
Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in Marketing, Social Media and/or Digital Marketing.
Strong knowledge of brand marketing space. In-depth understanding of social media platforms, best practices, measurement, and research.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
Must operate with a high degree of independence, knowing when to rely on own judgment and when to seek the advice of supervisor and other team members.
A sense of urgency, ability to multitask and a can-do attitude.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Thrives in a fast paced environment with quick turnaround and hard deadlines.
Takes initiative in building skills and knowledge and otherwise increasing her/his value to the agency and to clients.
Passionately curious. Continually seeks new ways to learn and improve.
Ability to develop and learn quickly.
A flexible approach and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of clients.
The ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment.
Strong research skills that ensure all copy is correct and accurate.
